Dr. Paul Wu, General Manager of AuthenX Inc., graduated from the Institute of Optical Sciences at National Central University. He has extensive experience both in the industry and academia. Before transitioning to the industry, he taught at his alma mater, where he focused on training students to meet industry needs. During his time at the university, he participated in a special academic project led by Dean Chyi of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, which aimed to train students to achieve industry goals using innovative silicon photonics platforms. This project led to the creation of the optical transceiver modules for data centers and the establishment of Centera-Photonics. The students involved received comprehensive theoretical training in optoelectronics and practical experience through the project, leading many of them to significant positions in the optical communication industry.
